THE GOOD: The abilities of the cyber-elves that you collect through the game and the new element system which helps eliminate almost every boss that gets in your way.
THE BAD: Some of the cyber-elves are a major pain in the butt to find (I've beaten the game 3 times and STILL don't have all the cyber-elves), and getting enough crystals for all of them can take HOURS of time.
SUMMARY: This is a good game for all fans of the RockMan/MegaMan series, especially now that Zero's got his own game. You start out with a buster, and at the end of the same level you get your saber, plus up to four cyber-elves on your way through. Later in the game, you'll get the Triple Rod and Shield Boomarang ((looking for anyone who can actually tell me how this weapon is useful, all it does is get in my way)). And with a total of 70 cyber-elves to collect, you'll be searching everywhere to get them, even if that means returning to an area later on when you have...
THE GOOD: Well, the weapons are definitely a plus, and so are the cool anime cut scenes in between missions. Cool villians and decent graphics are a plus also.
THE BAD: The bosses are a little tough when you first start playing, and the weapons take wayyy too long to upgrade. This is bad because you need to upgrade certain weapons to defeat certain villians. Crystals are excruciatingly annoying to find throughout the game, so have patience with this.
SUMMARY: Overall a pretty good game. Besides a few turn-offs (hard bosses, etc.) the game is great once you get into it and figure out what you're doing. Nice weapons, except for the fact that they're worthless against most bosses unless you waste long amounts of time trying to upgrade them. Once you do, the game gets progressively more fun. Great addition to the Megaman series. Pick this one up if you want a good action game for your GBA collection.
THE GOOD: Well, nearly anything in my opinion. Its a new Series in the MM plot, thus it SDHOULD have the same overall as its predecesors but with a little twist. Which, I am glad to say, it does. with 32 bit Catridge graphics, an PRG style weapon system, "Mission" format levels, and interesting Animae cutscenes, this is defenitly going to turn out to be a good series.
THE BAD: Honestly, the ONLY thing that bothered me about this game, is that the Energy Crystals are way too hard to add up. Energy Crystals are dropped by enemies when you destroy them and come in packs of 4, and 16....defenitly not enough. its possible to spend endless boring minutes trying to accumulate them. And trust me...beginner or not, you will want them. Its possible to go through the game without dealing with them, but its quite the challenge.
SUMMARY: Overall, I think this is a great game. With very decent graphics (I was especially impressed by the sprite...
THE GOOD: Cyber Elves More than one weapon Cool anime like Cutscenes It is MM! Four Weapons Cool bosses Zero is the main character, the cool one finally gets his own game
THE BAD: It is a little short Kind of stupid looking outfits
SUMMARY: Well. Any one who is a MM fan should appreciate this game.. And, those who are new to the series will too, if they like a good, hard, A/A. But, it was a good game, with awesome graphics, a good story, and, some nice cutscene artwork... But, if you like any MM game, I would recommend this. It is a great game, with 4 weapons! The MM series is now even cooler! BUY THIS GAME NOW! The bosses are extremely awesome, and, their designs are awesome! They give you enough of a challenge and you will want to throw the game out the window sometimes because they are so hard... And, the side quests are a nice bonus...
THE GOOD: It's a great game, fun 7 chalanging. Zerox goes up in levals to learn new attacks
THE BAD: Nothing is bad if you like meegaman, playing as zero and like a hard chalenge.
SUMMARY: Zero look's a little differnt from the older games and at first a little funny, but after a while you'll get use to it. He start's with a gun, but by the time you get threw the cave and down the hole, you'll get you're saber.
THE GOOD: Cyber elfs help against the bosses. There are knew weapons and soem hidden suprizes.
THE BAD: There is nothing really bad about this game if you are a fan of Megaman.
SUMMARY: I really like this game and it shouldn't be a glance game. It is really fun and if you see it cheap don't pass it up. Well I would have to say there is only one thing, that it gets hard and even harder as it goes along.
SUMMARY: This keeps the feel of the X series, taking the role of Zero (For Definately) with the extras. Cyber Elfs, elements and having to choose from two of the four weapons (including the blaster and Zero sabar). Like most boss with previous games, once you know their weakness its a walk though but there a catch with Zero, you will have to fight your way though even to what you may already have. The mission ranking system have its good and bad points but don't this put you off the entire game. The level are lovely even on the GBA although you won't have Megaman to control but any Megaman fans won't be disappointed playing this latest MMX title!
The game had a lot of changed features. It was obviously an experiment.
The cyber elf system was interesting, but it was a BIG pain and waste of time to gather the crystals to raise them.
The game was not as hard as the producers claimed. And it would have been better if there were more power-ups to search for. Its not difficult to get all the cyber elves, as most of them are dropped by enemies anyway.
And the elemental chips are a very poor replacement for the weapons or attacks that Zero used to learn from bosses.
The game was really a disappointment, and I hope the next one will be better. Until then, I'll take the X series anyday.
