THE GOOD:
-decent graphics.
-Epic score.
-Many missions to play in.
-Many characters to use.
-Able to customize characters.
-Can be good or evil.

THE BAD:
-Can get repititious.
-The enemies almost always out numbers you.
-Evil sides Orcs die way to easy.

SUMMARY:
Concept
Turn the Lord of the Rings franchise into a Turned-Based strategy game that sucks.
Graphics
The level design is good and detailed. The characters look like the actors in the movie and the shadow and lighting effects look nice also.
Sound
The music of this game is like the music in the movie and is put together nicely too. The sound effects are okay too. There's no voice acting in the game but thats because its for the Gameboy Advanced.
Controls
The controls are good but thats probably because there's like seven buttons on the Gameboy, but the controls are okay.
Gameplay
This games is a Turned Based Strategy, RPG game so you and your enemy take turns fighting each other. This game can be fun at times, especialy when you first play it, but that fun wanders off when you get to the later and more difficult missions. There are multiplayer options making this game funner than just single player. Also you can choose to be good or evil. Though the missions don't change and the Evil side characters die to easy and the Free Peoples side die to slow. The game is very repetitive so buy it if your an experianced veteran of these types of games.
Replay Value
There isn't much here. When you finish a certain mission you unlock another character to play as, and there is multiplayer, and the good and evil missions on campaign mode, but thats about all.

THE GOOD:
Playing some lord of the rings famous battles is always good. Has good graphics for a gameboy advance, Possibility of plaiyng as evils. Has many secondary heroes. The experience system, altough very very simple, adds something to the game.

THE BAD:
VERY slow gameplay. Even if it´s a turn based STRATEGY game it doesnt involve much strategy, actually luck is more a factor than strategy is. You can use three characters from the evil side (witch king/nazgul king, saruman and mouth of sauron) and three from the good side (Aragorn, gandalf or ) YOU CAN JUST USE TWO SAVE SLOTS, ONE FOR THE GOOD AND ONE FOR THE BAD!!! That´s easily one of the stupidiest thing I ever saw in a game!!! This game could have a very high replay rate, so you can enjoy all heroes and sub-heroes, but in order to do that you should delete your character. Prrety dumb, and it really hurts the gameplay and replay value, since most players wouldnt play for real more than one time with good and one with evil.

SUMMARY:
This game may be good to pass the time, good graphics, playing as lord of the rings characters´... But you dont need to think too much to play this game, just to the same damm thing, chosing wich units to move, move then, attack... untill you win or lose, in that case you play again untill you win. But this game may be obrigatory for LOTR fans, even if its not a really good game.
