DK: King of Swing

THE BAD:
Can get very frustarating until you finally figure out what to do!

SUMMARY:
DK King Of Swing has quite an original idea of swinging around on pegs. Sure it might sound silly, but this is actually a great title for the GBA, it's very fun and you'll always be coming back!

It was another day in Kongo Jungle and Cranky was holding a Jungle Jam contest to see who the Jungle Hero was! Unfortunatley K.Rool stole the winner meadals and took off in his flying machine. Now, DK must swing his way through the worlds to take back the medals.

In this neat game, you'll take control of DK and go through worlds. Mainly you'll have to use the L and R buttons to swing on pegs. If you stop, DK will swing around on a peg. You must alternate with the buttons to keep DK moving. DK's only method of attack is a charge up. You must hold L and R and wait until DK turns red and let go to go soaring into the air, knocking out any enemy in your path. You can also do it on pegs as well. There are many enemies and many are difficult to take out. Get hit 3 times, and DK's dead! Very tough at times. Sometimes you can hit enemies with rocks and bombs if you happen to get one by grabbing it. There are also bananas and if you get 10, you can replenish one heart on your life. 20 makes you "go bananas" and be invincible for a short time. There are many diffrent pegs, play to find out more on the fun!

This is the 1st time the Kongs entered the cartoon graphics universe. The graphics are great and each kong looks like a cartoon! Some of the kongs look a little different, DK, Diddy, and Dixie look slighty different if you pay attention. The group of baddies also look very good too! I liked that cool robot kremling, he's the 1st boss in the game!

The music seems to be remixes of the DKC music. I usually don't have much to say about music and sound, all I can say is that some sounds can get stuck in your mind, just a few of them. The sound is fine too!

DK King of Swing is a good game and an excellent GameBoy Advance game. The game even has multiplayer so bring over friends and go bananas in the multiplayer modes!
