Background

Banjo and Kazooie are back for an all-new GBA adventure, this time taking the plotline in a new direction after the events of the first N64 title (and not its sequel). Gruntilda's back of course, and she's itching to go back in time to prevent her first defeat. Bird and bear must team up again, and you've got to use their different moves to explore new stages (this time in 2D) and stop Gruntilda!
