THE GOOD:
The tricks, blood when you fall off, a wide variety of characters to choose from.

THE BAD:
Graphics are not as good as the psx or pc version but what can you expect its on a hand held games system, can become boring.

SUMMARY:
This is one of my favourite games on the GBA although once completed becomes very boring, I sold mine after about 2 months and brought a newer game.
Some of the extras are hard to unlock this can prove very tiresome at times but once completed is a boring game.
The game play is great and there is a wide range of tricks to choose from each skateboarder has its own special techniques. So it's an all round good game until completed.

thanx for readin

THE GOOD:
- Great Game
- Much Fun
- Sequal to the best game ever
- Spiderman is a charactor
- Kick ass Levels
- Game cost around $20

THE BAD:
- Graphics arent so good
- Some of the levels are really easy but fun
- Music is fricken horrible just like all the THPS games
- Games old and the THPS4 is already out

SUMMARY:
I say buy this game if you wanna feel the ultimate THPS wraith. Other then that theres not much to do. I loved the game when it came out but that was then and this is now. Is ay buy THPS4 if your gunna buy a new game. This one isn't as good as the 4th.

THE GOOD:
However crude they are, it uses 3D models, unheard of on a GBA both before and since. Supremely playable.

THE BAD:
Does tend to get repetative and boring after a while.

SUMMARY:
This game was one of the most successful GBA launch titles. Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2 arrived after little notice, and became one of the most addictive games on the handheld system.

Its easy to see why, with a great soundtrack and fast-paced action, THPS2 is massivly playable. This is mainly because it features 3D models. Never been done before on a handheld, but crude, expressionless 3D models. As in better than 2D. For this game to work, they had to be 3D really. Couple that with the 2D courses and you have what is known as a fantastic game.

Whilst both graphics and gameplay are great, the game is let down on more than a few counts. The missions, which are required if you want to unlock anything worth playing, are boring and...

THE GOOD:
Well, a lot of things, THIS IS AN AWESOME GAME for the GBA handheld, when i first got it from a friend. I really didn't excpect much, just the crappy GBA game that looks similar to the ones on GBC. So i popped it in and played it for hours, i LUVED it, the charachters each have there own good and bad abilities. buying stats, it was like the other THPS games , which is a GOOD thing

THE BAD:
Hard to see, thats just about it, it got really annoying trying to look at it while trying to get a high score, oh, and gets tiring after a while, like after playing it for 30 minutes, i didnt pick it up for another day, thats all i could stand for 1 day

SUMMARY:
I think that THPS3 is better, so get that, but if your looking for a cheaper game, get this one, i wouldnt go crazy over it, but its a nice, well done game, so i suggest getting it for the 24.99 america spender, thats all i would pay for htis game maybe 29.99 though

THE GOOD:
Like the playstation original on a tiny screen!

THE BAD:
Viewpoint can make things a little trick now and again. The new york secret tape!

SUMMARY:
Kickflip while on the bus, sorted! Aside from the prospect of the crazy idea (if you tryed it for real)
THPS2 offers depth and longlivity. If you have played the PS original it will still take you awile to get to grips with the 45 degree viewpoint, and also the fact that to do the flip/grab tricks you gotta use the shoulder buttons. Other that that this is the PS version! Unfortunatly you may get bored once you complete it with a few of the characters and the lack of two player is a slight downer.
Ultimately if you have to choose between this and the sequel get the on thats cheepist, unless you're a real rich dude!

THE GOOD:
Portable Tony Hawk
Nice amount of challenge to it
Some Tony Hawk 1&2 levels to it

THE BAD:
The challenge is due to the isometric camera view.

SUMMARY:
There are some problems with this game, but it still is fun to play. The levels designs are good, and so are the skater models. The manual and grind balance meters are ok, but they are difficult to read without a bright light source. The camera angle has a tendency to mess up tricks, and the control scheme really makes it difficult to do the combos that you could do on a console version. The game concept is the same by having you complete goals in 2 minutes. There are a couple of secret characters so there is something to unlock. I would recommend this game to hardcore THPS fans.

Bottom Line:

Good for a roadtrip.

THE GOOD:
-fun skating around on the GBA
-animations

THE BAD:
-top-down veiw gets kind of fustrating sometimes

SUMMARY:
The animations were surpisingly good but that top-down veiw makes it kinna tough to see things and if you liked this one you should definatly check out THPS3 this game isn't really perfect but it is a good first-try for tony hawk on the GBA!!!!!

Excellent skating game for the GBA, infact excellent compared to most console skating games!

This game replicates everything what made the bigger versions so much better, great graphics, design, control, you can't ask for anything better than this!

THE GOOD:
The music is awesome, just like in the N64 and Playstation versions. There are loads of tricks and cool environments. There are also endless cheats to have fun after beating the game.

THE BAD:
There is not much bad, except for the fact that after you beat the game there is not much else to do.

SUMMARY:
The game has lots of characters to choose from, including Spider-man and Mindy when you beat the game or plug in the cheat. The game is exactly like the bigger platform versions like collecting money and knocking down barrels. Once you earn money you can buy more tricks, boards, and improve your player's stats. This game is so life-like with extremely good graphics. Especially with the auto-zoom feature when you pull off a special move.
