Background

Just as Battletoads- Rash, Zitz and Pimple - are escorting Princess Angelica back to her home planet, the Dark Queen ambushes them, and kidnaps the princess. It's up to the remaining Battletoads to venture into the Queen's dark planet, and rescue the princess before it's too late.
