SUMMARY: Children Of Mana is a good game, though it is not perfect in anyway, because nothing is. Although it would be a good idea to consider this game only if you don't have anything else to play or if you are a casual gamer. If you are some sort of videogames expert, then I don't recommend getting this game, as you will find it incredibly easy, but if you like good storylines, then get this game even if you are a hardcore gamer.

SUMMARY: The hype for this game was relatively decent. For me the hype came with E3 and died out soon after. I only found out that Children of Mana had came out because I was at EB picking up another game which, coincidently was the same release day as CoM.
The gameplay at first was unnoticeable of any flaws until you get about 20 minutes into the game. Then, it becomes obvious that gameplay is rather tedious. It's the same thing: kill, find dot, find portal, next level. Repeat throughout the whole game with the exception of boss fights.
