Ontamarama

Background

In a peaceful world of beauty and natural rhythm, there exist friendly musical spirits that, when conducted properly, have the power to create beautiful melodies. These spirits are called Ontama.

On a small island there live two children who aspire to become renowned Ontamaestros (conductors who can direct Ontama to create melodies): a rambunctious young boy named Beat and a spirited young girl named Rest. Friends from an early age, they have a playful rivalry to see which of them will become an Ontamaestro first.

One day on their way home from the OntaConservatory, where they study to become Ontamaestros, Beat and Rest come upon a weakened Ontama in the middle of the street. This surprised them, as Ontama rarely venture into populated areas. Although they may not realize it yet, this marks the beginning of a musical adventure.
