BackgroundIn Studio Ghibli's first foray into games, the famous animation studio teams up with developer/publisher Level-5 to bring this new RPG to fruition. A 13-year-old boy, who is partly responsible for the death of his mother, is approached by a fairy that gives him a book that allows him to go to the world of Ni no Kuni, an alternate reality where he will encounter familiar faces in new positions. The game itself will come packaged with said book, which the player will need to proceed in the game.
