As the first game of this particular Mega Man franchise, I had a hunch that the game would make an impact in terms of storyline quality. And my hunch was dead-on. The storyline reminded me of the storyline of MMBN6 in the way that it just pulls you in and never lets you go--similar in the way that a reader cannot put down a good book.
The changes in the battline system took some getting used to, but after getting used to that I think that the changes were helpful and were a necessity to keep things fresh from the BN series. Aalthough I would have preferred to have kept the Program Advances from the Battle Network Series, the Best Combo system is pretty cool as well.
I was surprised that there was no "underworld" type of area like the Undernet was in the Battle Network series. Maybe something like that will appear in a future game, which is inevitable in the Mega Man universe of games.
I've gotten all 6 symbols and defeated Andromeda Infinity. The last parts of it-PegasusSP and Andromeda Infinity-were the hardest, forcing me to put mroe of an emphasis on defensive battle cards. But it worked, and that's all that counts! |
