Garfield's Nightmare

This game isn’t going to be a must-own for the typical IGN reader. It’s a very simple hop and bop kids game geared toward a younger audience, but some of the visuals go beyond even what Nintendo’s pulling off in their games. This is 3D done beautifully, and there’s solid gameplay here to back it up. Any kid or longtime Garfield fan will eat this game up like a plate of hot spaghetti.

"This game definitely is not worth paying full price for, but someday when it is reasonably cheap it might make for a relaxing couple of hours for the Garfield fan. If you are not a fan of platformers, though, this most certainly is not the game to change your mind."

"The only real fault is how short this game is. I cleared it in just a few hours. Granted, I’m an older gamer and not a part of the target market, but I can’t imagine even youngsters taking more than 4 or 5 hours to get through this. Despite this, what limited time you do have with Garfield is actually surprisingly entertaining, and though it doesn’t really use the source material very well, this is still a good 2D platformer that platforming fans should check out, whether they like Garfield or not."
