Still, with Chibi-Robo: Park Patrol, the pros most definitely outweigh the cons, and if you can handle the game's particular style (provided you live close enough to a Wal-Mart to buy one -- that's the only place you can get it), you'll find this a surprisingly well-designed game that offers significant playtime, will nurture latent gardening addictions, and will give you the goofiest "god game" experience you've had in a long, long time.
It's surprising that Chibi-Robo: Park Patrol is only going to be available at one retailer, because the game is actually quite good. Not great, but definitely a surprisingly decent experience. It follows up the GameCube original well with an original theme and gameplay elements of its own, and if it wasn't for the sluggish pacing and small glitches hindering the experience it would have easily rated in the 8.0 range. It's definitely worth checking out. Score one for Wal-Mart.
"Chibi-Robo will shine for those looking for a unique mixture of genres. For those who want to spice up their DS library with something different, Chibi-Robo: Park Patrol just might fit the bill."
This fun, delightful adventure takes "going green" to an entirely new level and is full of unique characters and entertaining minigames.
