Background

The game begins in North Africa toward the beginning of the U.S. involvement in WWII and continues through the invasion of Normandy in the summer of 1944. The top screen displays a 3-D view of the battlefield that pushes the envelope for graphic quality on the DS, offering detailed locations and explosive effects.
