BackgroundInspired by the hugely popular range of Beyblade toys and the action TV series entitled BEYBLADE: Metal Masters from Nelvana and d-rights Inc., BEYBLADE Metal Masters allows players the ability to customize their own Beyblade spinning tops as they take on 37 different characters from the TV series. The premise of the game is similar to that of the Beyblade toys, where the winner is decided in a last-man standing competition. Players will need to time their attacks to send their opponent out of the arena all while keeping their Beyblade tops spinning at all times.
Everything about BEYBLADE Metal Masters has been designed to keep the controls simple, yet offers the many tactical strategies the popular series affords. Players send their Beyblade into battle and can also add combination attacks via a series of button presses. Key attacks from the TV series have been faithfully recreated, allowing users to perform the 'Pegasus' diving attack to smash into opposition units, and the game also features spectacular finishing moves to earn victory with finesse.
