Virtua Tennis

THE BAD:
I swear to god this game cheats so that the comp will win.

SUMMARY:
I will be up 3 games to 0 against the computer and then all of a sudden the same server I have been using the whole starts to fault. This gives the comp some serious court advantages since I have use a lesser server. Also I will hit the ball, the game will lag, and the ball will all of a sudden just randomly go out. It's almost as if the game is lagging to calculate how to serious f*** the player. I swear to god I will be hitting the same shots the whole game and then when it comes down to me winning the match they all of a sudden just start going out for no reason whatsoever. I am sure whoever programmed this game had in mind a way to f*** the user so that the computer actually seems "very hard".

THE BAD:
Some of the later stages are very hard, the controls are simple but the game still takes time to master.

SUMMARY:
This is by far the best tennis game and one of the best sports games I have ever played. It's easy to get into but takes a while to master. It is also an extremly addictive game

It has very few flaws but the later matches will take a while, I reccomend this game to just about anyone.

THE BAD:
The learning in World Circuit mode can be a bit steep in places, and no female players? I'm sure a few women have something to say about that.

SUMMARY:
The first Tennis game in the Virtua series by Sega Sports is a very good effort at a sports game aimed at the arcade and hardcore gamer.

First, the positives.......

You are greeted at the Main menu screen by a rock music theme, and this continues throughout the game, which is either something you'll love or hate. I love it!

The world circuit mode is the mode you'll be concentrating on the most (otherwise why aren't you at the arcades?), with both training levels and different skilled CPU players to play against, you are constantly kept busy, and if you win enough of those matches, then you will be able to shop for players to use in arcade and...

THE BAD:
not for novices. this game is hard.

SUMMARY:
I've read a couple reviews about this game, and I have yet to find one that stresses how difficult this game is. Getting to Master and King is no small task. Unlocking the secret outfits ranges from hard to downright impossible. I read one guy's review who said that he thought the singles match with King was hard, but after an hour he finally won. Well, I just spent the last three hours, and I couldn't even steal a single game from King (and you have to win SIX!).

I am no slouch at video games either. I beat Tony Hawk's Pro Skater with all the characters in two days. Beating all the challenges in Soul Calibur was a breeze. Virtua Tennis is the real deal. If anybody has some helpful advice, I'd love to hear it. I'm getting killed out there on the court.

although you cant see what happens after a game, i bet they all get in a big hot bath all naked and soapy. at least you see them hold each others hands at the end of a point.im going now anyway im going to watch queer as folk.
