| This was the only game that I ever played for the short-lived Sega Dreamcast, and I am sorry to say that I wished the Dreamcast was still alive and kickin'. Test Drive Le Mans is easily the best graphiced game of the 1990s, and because of that, this game was easily to score in terms of graphics. Flavored with over 30 Frames Per Second, this game is richly textured with trees, people, and what usually isn't paid much attention to, the asphalt. Second, the game discovers an engrossing gameplay, with ten-minute, five-lap, among other stipulation races. What really is amazing is the fact that there are about twenty-five professional cars competing in each race, so the competition is unbelievably fierce. The selection is not really what you call "immortal," but the cars are good nonetheless. Even though the 24 Hour Le Mans will take a while to finish, it is constantly changing in terms of light and weather, which even though will eventually turn boring, it will be worth it at the end. With rich texturing, above average gameplay, and a decent selection of cars, this is at least a rent, and possibly a buy for all you racing junkies like me. |
