A friend of mine got me the first 3 volumes of the Berserk manga for my birthday and I was instantly hooked. Don't get me wrong, I'm not much of an anime or manga fan, but this was so violent, so dark, so intriguing that it became one of my favorite animes (NOTE: I only like a few animes). After finding out there was an anime of Berserk also, I found a couple episodes and was stunned to see that it had been faithfully translated with all the gore I could ask for. Then, imagine my giddiness when I stumbled onto Sword of the Berserk at Gamestop. Only $15 for it and it would give me something other than Shenmue and Marvel vs Capcom 2 to play on my Dreamcast. The game was just as engrossing as the manga and anime. Now that you've heard me rant for a couple minutes, it's time to fill you in on what exactly Berserk is and what makes it so great.
Berserk is about a man named Gatsu, or Guts. He was used for a sacrifce by The Godhand, who are a group of powerful demons....
