THE GOOD:
Extreme Weapons to use, Great enemies to battle and wonderful surroundings and environments to explore from forests to ruins.

THE BAD:
When online, there are quite a few "hackers" that may mess up your character and sometimes the online game can be pretty slow when playing in a team of Four.

SUMMARY:
Phantasy Star Online Version 2 is a brilliant RPG for the Dreamcast. You have a character that can level up (as in most RPGs) and there is a very wide selection of weapons to choose from. Your character may be a Force, Hunter or Ranger and each of these different characters specialize in a way that makes them as good as each other. Forces are strong in mgaic, Rangers are strong in guns and Hunters are strong in weapons like swords etc. As you level up you will be able to equip better armour, weapons and shields. In PSO you may equip a mag (which is a really fun creature that follows you and can heal you and also help you out in...

THE GOOD:
All new weapons, difficulty level, glitches fixed. New options for characters. Up to level 200

THE BAD:
Longer to load up. Danger going online (Cheaters lurk about)

SUMMARY:
If you have the first, you know what this is about, if not, the game is an offline/online rpg where you create the character. You can offline level up, find weapons and do missions. But in online is the real fun, you and 3 others can create a team and go and play either missions, or just go through levels.

You can also battle each other and even play football online.

This game is worth it, even if you can't go online. It is a must.

THE GOOD:
Nice visuals, great gameplay, awesome online play, a lot of replay value.

THE BAD:
Pratically flawless until I play the gc version

SUMMARY:
This game is my favourite game of all time. It takes an already amazing game pso and adds even more life span weapons and difficulty to it. If you have a chance buy this game.

The only bad thing I can say about it is the fact the GC version is already out and is coming to Europe soon. But for now this remains in my eyes the king of all games.

THE GOOD:
Everything is perfect for this action adventure RPG.

THE BAD:
Lacking of how some weapons are and from playing the game online with them. Should not have made such weapons then.

Ihave to admit when
I first picked upthis game i thought it was boring but in the end it turned out to be a great experience. The online play feature is great as well.

An absolutely genius game more online than off, where you can meet great people. JUST WATCH OUT FOR NOLLERS.

Much hacking, deleting off peoples characters, if your DC brakes you cannot go online with the new one unless you sort out the deleting of the old codes from your old DC. Quite a grueling process, especially if you have lost your old PSO codes (thats right. i'm talking from expierience).

THE GOOD:
I like some of the challenges on vr.2, but some parts of that game are not all that like some people claim they are.

THE BAD:
It's really not that different from vr.1, and I dont know why they charge you money to get your HL when you arent getting very many things new on that game, in my opinion, this game is alright for the true addicts, as for people who are just beleaving the hype, well, you might be heart broken.

SUMMARY:
The new weapons are nice, but that's about as deep as I'll get, this game did not really impress me as much as I thought it would.

Pay-to-play online is only limited to credit cards I think it should be at least open to debit cards

This game is better than the Original... You ask why all that is happened is that there is battle mode and ultimate but you fail to see that rares are easier to find that were from ver.1 and as for new rares they are pretty easy to find too.. The capability to go to lev 200 is awesome I say to get to lev 200 at least takes 300-500 hours form lev 1 and that makes the game very interesting when you have something so high to strive for ... I personally don't have a problem paying $5 a month because that just keeping the servers running but only allowing people with credit cards the ones able to get one is pretty bad because if ytou are under 18 you have to rely on parents to give you the crtedit card and some parents don't like the idea of giving up their number just to anyone thats why I also say...

Phantasy Star Online was (and probably still is) an amazing game. It caused so many controversy over the internet. The talks about Player Killers, Cheaters rampin' about, and other personal discussion references- stirred up many online gaming forums and taking away people from their daily lives. This is truly the first game in it's class to be an stellar Online console game. *note RPG is not included due to an EXTREMELY weak storyline.

Some key features in this new version are the added 2 area(s). The SpaceShip and the Shrines. The Battle Modes, now you can Player Killer legitimently. The many minor, but notice improvements. Such as; gun trails, lesser lag while fighting intense battles online, The Ultimate Mode difficulty (think you can handle it?), and of course- the all the new...

Only read little bits of info on this but it sound great, I reall, really, really, hope SEGA bring it to Europe as I would love to whoop other people in battle mode. This game Rocks!!!! Cyclone, Hunter
