THE BAD:
Alot
SUMMARY:
The controls are terrible and unchangable, everything feels really unnatural and akward, this is not even comparable to Quake 3 arena, i sold this game within a week of buying it
Too some it all this game isn't that great it's pretty awful at that i only bought it because of how much i love FPS's and i was totally disappointed there was great potential in this game and it was wasted

THE BAD:
Most of the arenas are tiny, and the one player game is too short. The missions are nearly all the same...
SUMMARY:
Outtrigger is a first (or third) person shooter with the same gameplay as Quake III Arena. The graphics are detailed and excellent, but the game is too short. Sure there are 45 missions, but the game can be beaten in less than half an hour. Even worse, the PAL version (Europe) does not support online play. The split screen multiplayer is OK, but it slows down at times.
Outtrigger is, however, the game first person shooter on the Dreamcast, even better than Unreal and Quake III. A definate must-buy, but you will get bored of the game completely in your second month of having the game. If you are American, however, than you will NEVER get bored due to the...
THE BAD:
Not enough in 1 player mode
SUMMARY:
This isnt the best 1st person shooter I've ever played, though it is better than Quake III (I think). The game play is very simular to Quake except for the weapon functions and map size. The best thing about Outtrigger is probably the multiplayer mode, you can play in teams or in a free for all deathmatch, choosing between time or point limits and a not so great handicap mode which gives the less experienced players a chance to win. After all this greatness the game is spoilt by the 1 player mode. To be honest I think the training modes are pointless because in mission mode you are told what to do anyway. The mission mode is story mode without the story, you basicly go around blasting the hell out of anything with a virtua-cop style ring around it. The gameplay is lasting in the fact that every set of missions you...
