Independance War 2: The Edge of Chaos

I LIKE TO PLAY GAMES LIKE THESE, BUT I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING THE INDEPENCE WAR ALOT. AND WHAT EVER YOU CAN DASH OUT I WILL BUY IT AND BEAT IT. I LOVE THE GRAPHICS ON THIS ONE AND LAST. JUST KEEP ON WITH THE STORY AND I WILL BUY YOUR GAMES. I REALLY DON'T TO SEE THE END OF THE STORY.

THE GOOD:
Gripping gameplay - god I love stealing pods!

THE BAD:
Linear plot
Frustrating at times
Looks the same as all the other space sims

SUMMARY:
OK - the list of bad points outways the number of good ones, but its still an extremely playable game if you can get past the first dozen hours of play.

You can only save inbase which can be miles away from where you want to be.
You can die for no reason - once I came out of LDS and the transport I was guarding blew up!
Sometimes you have to think more laterally than should be required - such as figuring out how to give the Diamonds to Big Whatever.

Well worth a look - I've lost three days in it so far.
