THE GOOD:
I love the fighting stlyes, Jam, the characters were cool, Jam, and I loved the move list, Jam..

THE BAD:
not really much, the graphics were good...but nothing to bad except for the fact its a fighting game

SUMMARY:
He he he I love this game almost as much as DOA2, but not that much, I mean it has one of my favorite fighting girls in it...JAM, she is the best, I love her.., I am the best with her...no one can beat me.., ok now down to buisness, this was a great game, if you have the PS2, I recomend to buy that one... but I got this game and I love it more than GGX-2, they have almost the same characters and what not..the graphics are the same as PS2, the moves that they preform were awesome, Jams special kick.. I just dont like fighting games that much because they are a waste of money and they are so short..

THE GOOD:
Graphics, sound, control, replay value, everything...

THE BAD:
it cost me $80 to import :-)

SUMMARY:
This is probably the best looking 2D fighter I've ever played--and I've played them all. Rather then the pixelated 2D fighters I've become accustomed to, that all look like they could have been done on the Super Nintendo (Jojo's bizzare adventure, Marvel vs. Capcom, etc. The list goes on), this game looks like it was hand drawn.
The fighting system is pretty decent and reasonably complex. There are one-hit kills, super-moves, this move that sends your opponent into the air to leave them open to air combos, juggling, double-jumping, counters, ... I know I'm forgetting some stuff. So basically, it takes pretty cool stuff pioneered by other fighting games, adds new stuff, and modifies concepts pioneered by the original Guilty Gear.

Oh, and in my opinion, the computer is also pretty good to play against. I almost always play my fighters on ultra-hard or whatever, but I think that GGX is kind of tough. I unlocked everything in SF3: Double Impact within a day (including Shin Akuma, who to get, you have to play on the hardest difficulty, losing no rounds, getting a couple perfects, and finishing Gil off with a super move), but I hadn't beat GGX after playing around for a couple hours. I just thought it was worth mentioning.

I could go on about how tight the control is, how great the game is, but I'll just say that if you like 2D fighters, and even if you're only a casual fan, buy this game. In fact, why wait for a US release? Import it, for lord's sake! You can still get the limited edition from ncsx.com!

fun stuff.
