About this Book
Misery is a 1987 horror novel by Stephen King. Author Paul Sheldon plans to switch from the romantic series; Misery, which made him famous, in order to work on more serious fiction. Yet these plans are interrupted because of a car crash that leaves him in the care of Annie Wilkes: Pauls self proclaimed number one fan. The mentally unstable Wilkes forces him to write a new Misery novel that brings the eponymous lead character back to life and if it isn't up to her standards it could cost Paul his life.
