    SUMMARY:
The Sorcerer's Stone started a new trend of books that mixes humor with mystery. Filled with magic, drama, mystery and humor, the book never tires a reader. The book will pull the reader from beginning to end. The book revolves around the life of Harry Potter, a young boy enslaved by his uncle, his aunt and terrorized by his cousin, Dudley. His parents died an unexpected death by the Dark wizard, Lord Voldemort. He is sent to his mom's sister to live with them by three mysterious people. The next thing that happens, Harry is disrupted by his aunt to make the eggs and the fry the bacon. Uncle Vernon tells Harry to go get the mail at the door. Harry picks the mail up and finds..a letter for him. He keeps it but the ever stupid Dudley grabs the letter and gives it to his ever *bleep*ed dad. On the day of his cousin's 11th birthday, Potter's luck changes. They went to the zoo for Dudley's birthday. The family observes a sleeping boa constrictor. Dudley finds it boring and walks away. Harry amazingly talks to the constrictor. Dudley pushes Harry out of the way and presses his nose to the glass. Harry's anger makes the glass parting Dudley from the snake disappear. When they get back to the house, Harry is shut up in the cupboard under the stairs. After a few days, more letters addressed to Harry arrive.

I won't say more so as not to give away the magic, the suspense and the drama in the story. I had a great time reading the Harry Potter books and the Sorcerer's Stone is my second to my favorite (Half-Blood Prince). This began JK Rowling's Harry Potter legacy. I recommend this awesome book to anyone looking for a time's worth of reading magic books with heartwarming characters.
