A string of car robberies have taken hold of the Hardy Boy's interest. It appears as though the car thieves regularly escape the police even when the police are hot on their trail. When the Hardy Boys put their minds to the mystery what they discover is that the car crooks are even cleverer than they could ever have suspected.
