Super Smash Bros. Brawl Review

The Super Smash Bros. franchise is one of the most popular series out there, right at the top with Mario, Metroid, Zelda, and even series from other platforms such as Halo! Starting from the original Super Smash Bros. on the Nintendo 64, the developers have aimed to please and have always hit their mark. Super Smash Bros. Brawl was just as a delight to play as the others, but with more modes, characters, levels, and more to make you excited and stimulated just by reading about it! Being one of the most highly anticipated games for over a year now, Brawl does not disappoint.

Painkiller First Look

A new era of shooters are on the horizon, games such as Doom III and Half Life 2 are making a huge showing in the FPS arena with impressive levels of graphic development and game play styling. They are greeted by another though; the name of the game is Painkiller presented by Dreamcatcher Interactive. Painkiller features massive levels full of architectural details and massive hordes of monsters to accompany them while the player searches to make it out alive through all of the chaos.

Giants Review

Once in awhile, there comes along a game with a good story that makes you want to play it, slowly and inexorably drawing you into its world. I’m happy to announce that Giants: Citizen Kabuto is one such game. Giants is also one of those games that manages to defy genre conventions as well, combining elements of FPS, adventure, and RTS games into one really nice package.

Introducing the gorgeous Agent Cate Archer, the starlet in Monolith’s new FPS spy game “No One Lives Forever”. Just take Tomb Raider and James Bond's Golden Eye and bash them together like a couple of terrorist skulls, add an essence of Austin Powers and you’ve got the idea.

Once again there is an attempt to capitalize on the Star Trek series. Activision and Raven Software have released a new first person shooter: Star Trek Voyager-Elite Force. Elite Force begins much like the Voyager television series with one stipulation; you are playing the main character from the first person's point of view. In this episode, Voyager has been transported to an uncharted region of space by an unknown alien intelligence.
