I was very impressed when I first saw this monster. Its gold colour well suits its truly majestic design. Indeed it is very visually appealing with the dual-fan system, but I was dying to see how it would measure up during testing. The mounting is a little tricky and required quite a bit of force. Another problem was finding enough 3-pin fan power headers. Lucky for me, the box included a molex-to-3pin power converter.

The dual-fan system proved to give a slight edge when the CPU was under load, but when idling, the Majesty performed just on par with the Intel one. The noise on this cooler, believe it or not, is just a little louder than the Intel fan. I feel that the design has potential, but performance-wise, there was little improvement over the boxed cooler. The fans however did crank out an impressive 5000 RPM each without creating an excessive amount of noise. All in all, it’s a decent HSF.
