AMD is scoring well with its whole range of APUs. This is particularly evident when looking at the offerings in the laptop and pre-built market segments. For system builders, there is a great selection of motherboards targeting different price ranges. The second generation of APUs has just launched for the mobile segment, but unfortunately it looks like it will take many more weeks for the desktop processors to be available in retail versions, as was the case with the first generation. It shows that AMD is now focusing on the mobile segment more than anything.
It is now known that Trinity in its desktop form will use a new socket called FM2, even though the A75 chipset will support it. For those that cannot wait any longer and wish to choose the platform based on the final evolution of the K6-evolved architectural family, this 4-way A75 motherboard roundup should help with the decision on which to buy. Intel didn't quite match the graphical performance of Llano anyway with its latest HD 4000 IGP, so Llano's main selling point remains secure. Speaking of graphics, one of the overclocks achieved in this review yields pretty astounding results in gaming performance, and should be easily reproducible at home with a similar air-cooled setup. People interested in games really should not miss this!

Just built a F1A75-V PRO based system for a friend recently, thing was actually really receptive on the OC potential, good to see that against the field it held up well. Tons of options and the problem is the boards are often at the exact same price point or there's a $10 difference. Given the results there's a lot of ways the results can go if one isn't too cautious though.
