Gigabyte is a name well known in the PC market. Like FIC, Gigabyte has a long line of successful & diverse motherboards. The GA-8IPE 1000 Pro is the subject of this section of the 865PE "Shoot Out".

Price wise the GA-8IPE 1000 Pro retails for approximately $115 US at the time of this article.

With the GA-8IPE 1000 Pro bundle we're pleased to see a SPDIF out bracket and two SATA cables. But conspicuously missing are any SATA/Molex power adaptors that we often see with SATA boards. Also round IDE and floppy cables would be nice too since they are becoming quite common in bundles. Overall though the bundle is good and will get you going, but you may need to purchase some things for certain configurations.
