I saw a few other reviews of this case and bought one. Its great, it does have flaws but its a great looking case for someone like me who wouldnt mod a case.

I am not to sure about what to think about this case becase to me it looks like either something out of the 70's trying to look like something out of the 90's or soem sort of latest boy racer craze fresh out of the 80's.

I guess its a matter of personal opinion, but I bought one and I think the case really does look stunning. I know some will disagree, and I respect that. But it is a wonderful case. The designers at Thermaltake really took the users of the case into their mind, and created one very user friendly and stunning case.

I just don't like the look of a plain chrome case. Again, its probably a matter of personal preference, but I think a plain metal box looks just BORING, but not so with the Thermaltake Case.

*Kicks Cheesy*

I actually like the case for its features but not for its looks. I would like to get a hold of that side fan panel thing and mod it for my case.

I recently bought a V1000D, and i would like to share my opinions about it.

- I also had the same problem with the front door, i had to adjust the lock.

- Since all 7 fans has a double molex connector, it doesn't look to good when all is connected. There are unused connectors hanging all over the place, and a plexi side. It would have been better if this was preinstalled neatly.

- If you fit S-ATA drives, you'll have to bend the cable tight to be able to close the side door.

Apart from this, i think this will be better than my old chieftec.

I do not hate how it looks. It is a pretty nice case, my friend has one but it is a black one. It looks pretty nice.

Zaphod, I think you could tie up the double molex connectors so that they become more compact, and I also know people manage the cables and hide them quite nicely. I use thin velcro straps to tie up cables, and you can also get plastic ring loops that stick onto your case's inside panels and use those ring loops to keep cables where you want them to be.

I use zip ties. They're a real pain to cut off especially when they are wrapped around small cables.
