CineBench

POV-Ray

3D Rendering seems to be more the forte of the Pentium 4 as the Intel processors take the crown handily. Cinebench has a mulit-processor options available and the Hyperthreading on the P4 is able to take advantage of that as the speed up was in the 20% range (those are the scores that are shown here).

The benchmark scene in POV-Ray is roughly 400 lines and favors the Pentium 4 also. Smaller tests have shown drastically different results however. In neither the case of CineBench nor POV-Ray does SSE3 seem to be a factor.
