ahh, a socket 1156 processor huh? do you know if it uses a foxconn socket for the CPU? if not, then go ahead and overclock further, this time with the BIOS. it is better to do it through here.
Where can I check whether the socket is using foxconn?

Anyways, if you take time to learn and overclock by yourself, you should be able to hit 3.8 GHz without much trouble. I constantly hit above 4 GHz on mine.
I am using the VTurbo, but when the OC is over 3.5GHz, it started lost its stability and rebooting the system.

The Foxconn logo is on and under the socket, can't miss it

TurboV works for light overclocks, but if you want more out of it, you'll have to leave the presets alone. You can check out my review of the Maximus III Formula, I listed the settings I used for the overclock.

They most likely won't work straight up for your particular processor, but it should give you an idea.

But yeah, start another thread if you need more help!
