In order to get representative results, I will test the Thermaltake Armor+ as is. No other fans will be added. I will mount an Intel Core i7 system in the system and record temperatures at both idle and load. Results will be compared with those of previously tested cases.
For reference, Coolermaster's ATCS840 is a similarly sized case,while Antec's Sonata is a much smaller mid tower.

The results speak for themselves, Thermaltake's Armor+ is a great choice when it comes to cooling your components. Probably due for the most part to the large side fan, it manages to keep the processor, graphic card and chipset at lower temperatures than Coolermaster's equally huge tower can. The weak link here though is the hard drive. Even though there is a fan blowing on the drive's cage, its structure is very restrictive, and little air can actually flow through. Other than that, the Armor+ is a solid performer.
