It's a week 15 from 2004 it wont work. -_-; it sucks that AMD locked their Barton cores but there's not much to do except pick up a mobile version that comes fully unlocked.

Upgrading to a mobile isnt too much these days but I can understand from a budget aspect. I think the mobile 2500 retails for around $85 now.

but of course youd be smart and go with a 35watt 2400 + go to the forums that have a forsale/trade thread and you can sell 2500+ bartons really easy for a good 60$. people in those forums go crazy for them.

FrozenCPU has 5 in stock at the moment.

http://www.frozencpu.com/tra-03.html

Do give attention to this page prior to purchase to make sure your model might not be affected by the later processor locking that AMD started to use.
