Brilliant review. I have been researching gaming mice for over 4 months now and out of all I've kept my eye on this beaut but there hasn't been enough in game testing/comparison's for FPS that I have found on the Kone Pure Optical for me to want to purchase it. e.g of In game testing; CS:GO/CSS/BF3/TF etc. I am stuck between this (PureOptical) the Deathadder 2013 and the Zowie FK. My problem is I can't afford to make the wrong decision on my budget. If I could test all three I would lol. But what are your thought's? do you feel in game the Kone Pure Optical is more precise than your Pure or any of these? If you have used these mice before that is.

Thanks

The Kone Pure Optical, in my opinion, was not significantly more or less precise than other high quality mice I've used and tested. The advantage of an optical sensor is it minimizes on the minor acceleration commonly seen with laser sensors (usually not noticeable), though has a disadvantage tracking on bright surfaces (as replicated in the review). When performance differences are so minor, I personally think the best route is to go to a computer store and try some of your options in person. Comfort usually makes a big difference in how well you control your mouse.

Hey thank you for taking the time to reply to my comment. I will be making a trip to my local computer stall with the hope they have all three in stock. I'm still kind of sold with the kone opt. but it's a hard one for me..

There is no way to automatically trigger the profile but you can alternatively set a button (like those on the top) to switch profiles

Mhmm are you sure? If you go to edit profile there's this box that pops up. Says you can open a game on a profile you've picked? Just need to put a game file location like a shortcut but its not working for me.

Oh wait, my mistake. Make sure you are directing it to the actual .exe file that's being executed. For League of Legends, I believe there are 3 different executables for the game. Try all 3
