AMD Opteron 170 Review - PAGE 9
William Henning - Tuesday, June 13th, 2006

Call of Duty

The Opteron 170 did reasonably well here, beating its 3800+ X2 brothers and stock D 930 by about 10%, and losing to the FX-60 and AM2 5000+ by less than 7%.

The overclocked 170 was slightly (about 1.5%) beaten by the overclocked FX-60 and AM2 5000+, and more significantly by about 12% by the overclocked D 930.

Comanche 4

At stock, the Opteron 170 did well slighly beating its 3800+ 2 siblings and significantly beating the stock D 930.

When overclocked, the stock AM2 5000+ slightly beat the 170, and the overclocked AM2 5000+ dominated this test.
