Test Setup   

Hardware for testing of the DDR2 memory:

• Intel Core 2 E6400 processor (Socket LGA775, 2.66 GHz, two cores)
• XFX GeForce 7800 GT video card
• Asus P5K Deluxe Motherboard
• Western Digital WD1200JD SATA hard drive
• Noctua NH-U 12 heatsink with two 12cm fans
• Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 SATA2 drive
• 2 * 1024 MB Corsair PC2-8888 memory @ 4-4-4-10/2T

Software & Benchmarks Used

For now, here is a listing of the tests performed:

• Windows XP Pro SP2
• RightMark Memory Analyzer
• SiSoft Sandra 2007
• WinRAR
• Doom 3

Video drivers used were the NVIDIA ForceWare version 93.71 package.

We made the test systems as similar as we could, other than the memory - so it should give us some very interesting results!
