NZXT Phantom Review - PAGE 1

Every gaming and enthusiast computer setup deserves to be in a case that represents it well. Such rigs are a minority in the x86 crowd; most computers run on integrated graphics processors or low-end discrete cards and feature a deficient OEM processor cooler. Those featuring an HD5800 or a GTX400 series videocard alongside a high-end quad-core or hexa-core processor need to be housed in a case that stands out of the bunch as much as said components. Aside from better cooling and more room to fit the largest components, the latter has to have that killer look, according to many enthusiasts, that will put that "wow" expression on every face at a LAN party.

NZXT attempts to do so with its latest Phantom full-tower case. The version that is being reviewed today lives up its name very well, as it is white! Wouldn't it be sexy at a LAN party where most cases, being black, hide silently in the darkness of the room? Now what if there were UV lights? The Phantom would stick out as much as the guy wearing a white polo on the dance floor at the bar.
