Nvidia FX5700 Ultra P/Review - PAGE 7

Final Fantasy XI

FFXI is developed by Square/Enix, and is similar to Everquest in its playing style (MMORPG). However, it is very graphics intensive, to the point that Square released a benchmark to give an idea to gamers about how well their system can run the game. Of course, being a benchmark, it also gives us a comparison between different cards and their performance.

The FX5700 Ultra takes a 5% lead over the Radeon 9600XT, which can be noticeable when running at low refresh rates. However, as FFXI doesn't actually give us a FPS count, it's hard to say whether that 5% makes a noticeable difference or not in actual gameplay.
