We've updated Far Cry to version 1.3 which contains specific code paths for different architectures - the 6600GT is running on a Shader Model 3 path while the 5950 and 9800XT are running on the default Shader Model 2. The 9800XT has a slight lead over the 6600GT at 1024 but that disappears as the resolution increases. At resolutions above 1280 with AA/AF,the 9800XT once again overpowers the 6600GT with its bruteforce memory bandwidth.
