Everyone knows WinRAR, so no need to explain what it is. I will compress our custom 100MB, 500MB and 1000MB using the greatest compression setting, in the ZIP format.
Cinebench 10 is another rendering program. I will run both the single-threaded benchmark as well as the multi-threaded.
The X58M's performance under WinRAR is excellent. In Cinebench, it scores the top spot in the single threaded part of the benchmark, but slightly lags behind when all four cores are used.

Just an update for any future readers out there, directly responding to some of the shortcomings outlined in this review.
