MSI P6N SLI Platinum - PAGE 8
J. Micah Grunert - Wednesday, May 2nd, 2007

WinRAR is always a good judge of character.

And it looks lie the MSI P6N SLI Platinum did pretty well.

The USB speeds look pretty average, but the CPU Utilization looks horrible.

IDE drive speeds look a little better with a very average score.

Unfortunately, I have been encountering SATA drive speed issues with regards to the newest of NVIDIA chipsets. It seems that for some odd reason, despite providing a SATA driver disk during the OS install and directing Windows to those drivers, the NVIDIA 600 series of chipsets doesn't want to break out of SATA 1 speeds. I made doubly sure that I was testing with a working SATA 2 hard drive, and I was. The resolving issue must lie within the next big BIOS revision for the 600 series of chipsets.
