PCMag Business Winstone 2004
There is quite a spread between the high end nForce and KL-I915A. The 925XE does not fare overly well here either surprisingly enough. The Kloss unit is quite a ways behind the two Soltek 915G solutions.

It does not look like additional memory bandwidth offered by DDR2 is always an advantage. While the Kloss and the SL-915GPro-FGR are close together, they both lag significantly behind the rest of the boards.
Sisoft Sandra Memory Bandwidth Test
Some pretty concerning numbers here in Sandra - memory bandwidth for the Kloss unit are significantly behind the competition, the Qbic is a whopping 56% ahead of the Kloss unit. We repeated the Sandra test with three sets of memory including 2x256 OCZ EL memory modules with timingis of 2-3-2-6 as well as OCZ's PC4000 Gold Edition VX modules without success. The PC4200 modules showed up as PC3200 modules in the BIOS but we suspect memory timings may have been read wrong. Additional tests with Rightmark's Memory Module Analyzer showed that latency was through the roof with the average case being 87.43ns, worst case being 109.52ns which is about 2.3 times higher than the results obtained on an Athlon 64 3000+. While the onboard memory controller of the Athlon undoubtably plays a role in this, the delta should not be this high. The lack of memory timing options in the BIOS comes back to haunt the Kloss.
