LAME MP3

The Core 2 Duo E8500 does extremely well at the single threaded LAME test both at stock and overclocked speeds.

NOTE: This version of LAME only uses two threads

The E8500 does reasonably well at the multi-threaded test.

TMPGEnc

For TMPGEnc, the stock results for the E8500 are very good, and it also does well when overclocked.
