65nm Dual Core: The Pentium D 930 - PAGE 3
William Henning - Friday, April 28th, 2006

Winstone 2004

Business Winstone is an old favorite of mine; and here the overclocked 930 does quite well, tying the highest previous Intel result from the overclocked 840 D. The dual core Athlon's win overall here.

At stock speeds, the 930 is where you'd expect it to be relative to other stock speed Intel processors.

Content Creation 2004

The Content Creation benchmark tells a very similar tale, with the overclocked 840 D slightly edging out the overclocked 930 D, and Athlon x2's leading overall. Again, at stock speed, no surprises.
