Budget Dual-Core Goodness - Pentium D 805 - PAGE 9
William Henning - Thursday, April 13th, 2006

Call of Duty

As usual, the D 805 at stock does poorly, but it does quite respectably when overclocked; beating much more expensive processors that are running at stock speeds. The Sempron does even worse than a stock D 805.

Not bad at all for a $146 chip.

Comanche 4

Comanche 4 is the same story as before. The 805 D is at the bottom (but better than the D 820, as the D 820 was tested with a weaker video card) but otherwise performing quite respectably. This time around the Sempron manages to out-do the D 805 by a 5 FPS margin.
