Sounds cool but dude come on, Wireless N + a signal booster is all you need for good wifi through a house. Unless you have crazy walls or something. I bet you can get systems pretty cheap too.

A quality router and signal booster / access point will probably run over the price of the unit, also that doesnt solve the issue of the connecting another system to the network.

If someone did router + booster + wifi card for pc or a bridge / wifi for their console it would dig them even deeper.

It's not the best solution out there for a high bandwidth user but it gets the job done.

im a little confused, perhaps because i did a quick skim over the article, but how exactly does this work? something about the data being run though the actual power cables...but what then?

2 Devices run across the power grid of the home / apartment. they're able to communicate and transfer data from point a to point b. In the case of the xbox 360 the wifi adapter is about $100 and can struggle from connectivity issues or bandwidth rates.

Using the ePlug gives a constant data rate (85Mbps peak) and allows the same wireless connectivity. I should note that in theory you should also be able to continue adding more devices to the chain and network using just those.
