G. Skill TridentX DDR3-2400 32GB Kit Review - PAGE 1
Roger Cantwell - Wednesday, January 30th, 2013 Like (1) Share (1)G. Skill is a manufacturer of enthusiast grade memory modules since 1989 and their experience has come through time and time again. For example, G. Skill memory was used in setting a world record of 3900MHz using none other than the Trident X series of memory modules that we happen to have a set of under the review spotlight.
Today I will be looking at G. Skill's Trident X DDR3 2400MHz 32GB quad channel memory kit. With their goal of extreme overclocking performance, G. Skill uses the highest quality memory IC's available when manufacturing their memory. To ensure trouble-free operation, their memory undergoes rigorous testing to verify their craftsmanship and performance.
Taking it one step further, G. Skill's Trident X memory modules are topped off with a new heatspreader that allows you to customize the memory for those of you who are running oversized heatsinks. Users running Sandy bridge-E processors will be supported by dual and quad channel kits available in 16 and 32GB configurations.
G. Skill's Trident X series comes packaged in a clam shell case with a red and black colored insert that contains a brief description of the memory's performance and lifetime warranty. It is recommended for use with 3rd generation Intel processors running on the Intel Z77 chipset for maximum performance.

Still looks like a nice set of memory.
Secondly wouldn't it be far better to upgrade the testbed to an Ivy Bridge CPU iso the 2600K with max 2133 divider support ?
Do you have any benchmarks of the RAM on a CPU that doesn't bottleneck it? One problem I find letting me down on my AMD build at this moment is the limiting MC.
