Why the small roundup of video cards in this review? The Gigabyte and the ATI 9600XT pulled in almost exactly the same numbers so understand that the Gigabyte at stock speeds is no different from the ATI 9600XT so we chose to omit the ATi 9600 XT numbers as the graphs just sat on top of each other. The 5700 and 5900 Non Ultra were chosen for this test because they are in the same general price range- in the last few weeks the price of the 5900 has been as low as $165 after rebates.

Mr. XXXXXXX,
At press time, it was announced that HL2 would be included with Gigabyte's Radeon 9600XT line of graphics cards. However, at official release the HL2 coupon will only be included with our Radeon 9800XT series, and not 9600XT series.
