Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness:
When it comes to Tomb Raider the FX 5700 Ultra performs poorly. As you can see, the FX 5700 Ultra does not enjoy Tomb Raider at all. Its performance drops significantly in this demo, losing to the Radeon 9600XT and the FX 5900 in all ways possible. You can still run the 5700 on 1024 with 2x or 4x AA at 36 frames per second, but why do that when 9600XT can run 45+ FPS on the same settings.
X2: The Threat:
Here we see the two competing cards playing a game of tug-a-war at low resolutions. Without AA/AF the 9600XT beats the 5700 Ultra, but then when AA/AF is enabled the cards are switched around. However at high resolutions the 5700 Ultra seems to perform better than the 9600XT with or without AA/AF.
