Sandra
Sandra showed a decent 5.7% improvement from the new BIOS, but overclocking the processor and FSB and raising the memory speed to 1037MHz had a HUGE impact - bringing over 2GB/sec more bandwidth, a 35% increase!
Given that the overclock only increased the processor clock by 24%, the majority of the 35% increase is obviously more due to the 29% increase in memory speed and the 55% FSB speed increase.

HDTach
The SATA scores for HDTach were quite respectable, achieving a low 1% CPU utilization. The IDE scores were also quite good, with a decent 2% CPU utilization - but as you can clearly see from our results, when buying a new hard drive, go for a SATA drive if you can. It's worth it.

WinRAR
Once again, the new BIOS made a significant difference - improving the WinRAR score by a healthy 10% margin.
Overclocking the system, we obtained the highest WinRAR score we've ever achieved - a whopping 829KB/sec; a 20% increase over the non-overclocked result.
